After being awarded a sole supplier contract with a FMCG Manufacturing company, FPR Group carried out a review of the recruitment challenges faced by the client. It was identified that the client had not benefited from a high retention rate amongst new starters. Some new staff had struggled to keep pace with the work or to fully understand new operating procedures. FPR Group, in partnership with their client introduced a pre-employment testing process. This improved retention from 1 in 5 new starters leaving, to 1 in 13 and created a more productive workforce.
FPR Group continually review the recruitment process in an effort to identify further indirect cost savings for the client. The improvement of the clients induction procedures also saw a further increase in staff retention.
Our client, a producer of premium bakery products to the international retail and food services industry, had worked with their previous recruitment supplier for over 5 years. re-known events, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed. In 2011 our reputation for providing high caliber staff resulted in an opportunity for FPR Group to support a well known
luxury car brand.
Our client requested that we provide hospitality staff to all VIP areas and to their main event stand. All the staff needed to be immaculately presented and possess exceptional customer service skills. FPR Groups events team swung into action, interviewing and screening over 200 potential candidates before selecting the highest quality staff to represent the client.
The events team, organized workers uniforms, carried out team briefings, health & safety inductions and staff training. With a record number of people visiting our clients stand, the result was a hugely successful weekend.
FPR Group’s specialist sales & marketing division were contacted by an award winning customer communications outsourcer. This national company had been awarded a new contract with a global communications provider and needed a recruitment partner that could help ensure the contracts ongoing success. FPR Group’s sales & marketing division quickly established an account team which would provide the support and delivery required for this client. The team were responsible for all pre-employment checks, interviewing, candidate assessment and temporary staff management. 71% of all temporary workers were offered permanent positions, with the client benefiting from high calibre candidates, excellent staff retention and the successful completion of the contract.
