CNC Miller / Setter

Our  client is a major precision engineering company based in Southampton who
currently requires a skilled CNC Miller (Setter) for a permanent position. You
would be working in a modern factory with the latest technology. They are a
medium sized company and there could be future opportunities for progression.

 

The Role…

 

Work
is mixture of production and sub-contract

Setting
and Operating CNC Mills using Mazatrol

Hours
are 8am to 4.30pm however this can be flexible, overtime is generally
available. Overtime paid at time and a half after a 48 hour week.

The
company is a Precision engineering business supplying to a variety of
industries including aerospace and aviation (they are a sub-contract
manufacturer).

Hourly
rate £12 to £14 per hour depending on experience

They
offer 23 days holiday (rising to 25 with service)

Skills and experience required:-

 

Competent
in Setting and Operating CNC Mills using Mazatrol

Experience
within a precision engineering environment preferably for sub-contract

Experience working
in a company which supplies the aerospace, aviation, industry could be an
advantage but other industries may be considered.
