Design Engineer (Automotive)

My client is an established automotive manufacturer based in Hampshire who is currently looking for a Design Engineer.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

A minimum of HNC if Mechanical Engineering.
Component design experience.
Experience of 3D CAD systems (Catia / SDRC).
Sound knowledge in the design of injection mould components.

Your roles are responsibilities will include:-

To raise agreed detail product specifications
Origination of product proposals for consideration by the Senior Engineering of new components.
Maintain design drawings to departmental request.
Assist the manufacturing engineering department during the prototype build.
Assist tooling and development departments.
Technically assist the test and development function.

The hours of work are at 40 per week. The annual salary is up to £27k. Pension scheme, Medical cover, subsidised canteen and free parking on site also included in this package.
