Design Engineer (Lifex)

Our client is a major defence contractor based in Bristol who is looking for a Lifex Design Engineer on a one year fixed term contract.

You will require the following Skills & Experience:-

 

Degree qualified or extensive experience in a Design or Engineering environment.
Preferably a member of a relevant professional body.
Understand Systems and System drawings.
Ability to identify weaknesses in Systems.
Ability to recommend improvements to Systems.
Experience in Naval/Submarine environment.
Experience of MoD procedures.

 

Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-

 

Review system drawings.
Produce through life documentation.
Make proposals for obsolescence issues.
Explore options for new equipment/replacement.
