You will require the following Skills & Experience:-
Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering with experience.
Development knowledge within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing process development along with manufacturing applications.
Production Facility and Layout planning experience essential.
Experience with cost and investment calculations.
Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-
Management of a team of Engineers to deliver processes and methods, improvements, projects and initiatives within manufacturing environment.
Analysis and development of manufacturing methods such as systems, tools and facilities.
Preparation of recommendations for changes that is required for manufacturing resources, facilities, procedures, technology and systems.
New technology and method implementation throughout the manufacturing resource. This to include liaison with other engineering departments to implement best practice with Design for Manufacture (DFM) in mind.
Act as Technical Expert for development projects and activities within manufacturing.
Creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation.
Support in the Continuous Improvement Plan within manufacturing. This to include the development and implementation of new learner processes and methods, cost reduction and improvement of current operations.
The annual salary is up to £39k.Company benefits include 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, Private Medical Insurance, Pension match up to 7%, Childcare and discount vouchers, Cycle to work scheme.
