This Account Manager position is working for a scientific/medical equipment manufacturer. The role is remote and features travel across the Northern Region of the UK such as Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The position is Monday to Friday, and is paying up to £55,000. There is a great commission structure and the role also comes with a company car!
This Account Manager position focuses on High Value accounts within academia, predominantly universities. As this role is an Account Manager position, the majority of this role is focused on upselling to contacts and other departments within existing companies, however, there is also an aspect of identifying new prospects to sell and supply to. This role will involve travelling all across the Northern Region, around 70% of the role will be travelling. There may also be the requirement for staying overnight one or two times a month. There is also an aspect of forecasting, strategy planning and communicating with the global company.
You will need:
- A scientific degree or similar
- A proven sales track record (2+ years)
- To be willing to travel across the North of the UK
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microscopy would be beneficial
