Job Description

Do you have experience within an Architectural or Construction environment? Do you have experience with AutoCAD and Sketch up? Or are you an Architectural Graduate looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and enter the industry? If so, this role is for you!

This Architectural Assistant role is for a Real Estate and Asset Management company at their Colchester branch. Due to the exciting growth of the company, they are looking to expand even more by adding to their Colchester team. The role is also offering regular office hours. The salary is up to £21,000.

The successful candidate will be provided with the perfect opportunity to develop a variety of skills. They will offering support to the Architects and Contractors on daily tasks with making amendments to drawing and plans, using software such as AutoCAD and Sketchup. They will also be required to liaise with contractors, other departments and clients to ensure everything runs smoothly to achieve the best possible results. This means helping to manage the process to bring concepts and ideas to life.

You will need:

• A relevant degree (Architectural)

• Ideally some experience within the construction or architectural industry (Could be from a Placement year)

• To be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup (Could be from University)

• Great Communication skills

• A keen eye to detail

• Good problem-solving skills

• To be a great team player
