Job Description

Are you an experienced assembler? Do you have experience testing assembled parts? If so, then you could be the ideal candidate to join a well-known engineering company in Southampton.

As an experienced assembler, you will join the electrical assembly and test department to help manufacture and test laser optic components and fiber assemblies.

Working within the electrical department you will utilise your experience working with engineering drawings to assemble small components together. Using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers you will work with a small friendly team and contribute to getting production out the door.

Alongside your assembly, you will conduct tests using various test equipment including oscilloscopes and power meters.

If you have worked in manufacturing and engineering, you will have transferable skills to join an experienced team who will train you resulting in more skills to add to your CV.

Working in the test department, you can work either days or nights - the choice is yours!

This is a permanent position with interviews happening immediately so don't delay in applying!

The salary on offer is between £23,500 - £30,550 depending on which shift you choose.
