Job Description

We are currently recruiting for assemblers in a temporary to permanent role after a qualifying period with good rates of pay for a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing company that have secured new contracts with aerospace and military firms.

We are currently recruiting for cable assemblers in a temporary to permanent role after a qualifying period with good rates of pay.

We are looking for candidates with an electrical or electromechanical building experience. Your role will be working on bending machines, hand laying of cables, crimping cables, panel mount wiring, and cabinet box wiring for different sectors including aerospace and military. It will require a good attention to detail in order to process the cables and some ability to work to drawings.

Training will be given on how to assemble the products and work to some drawings. Your training will be comprehensive due to the nature of the work, you will be buddy up with an experienced person until you are confident to carry out the work yourself. There is visual aid to work to and SOP guidance so you have all the tools to do the job. Also, when completed your temporary to permanent training you will be certificated your IP60 training.

The environment is very friendly and has a team-built atmosphere. Excellent facilities with break room, lockers, outside area to sit in bright new modern building with free Tea, coffee and drinks provided.

The hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and on a Friday 1pm finish so longer weekend.

Salary range will be from £12 to £13 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly and overtime available when required.
