Do you have experience with PLC's and are keen to get into exciting automation within a state of the art and globally recognised manufacturer? We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join a team of 3 other Automation professionals at a huge and progressive manufacturer in Portchester, Hampshire.
Paying up to £35000, you will be given great support by a very close knit team who go out together on sailing days and are aiming to become the best team within the business - they are driven, ambitious and all learn off each other. More important than the salary is the longevity of the role and the development of your skills. They also have half day Fridays, cycle to work scheme, holiday worked out in hours (25 days worth), subsidised canteen, working by the sea and have just won a huge global contract offering significant amount of work for all at this company!
Tell Me More? In this role you will get the chance to working on 6 axis robot automation projects and also on Cobots which rely on input from an operator, there is scope to make associated processes fully automated in due course. Whilst the Cobot projects require generally tweaking the 6 axis robots are very exciting and have huge potential - you and the team will work on projects making the facility more automated, more efficient, you'll have great job satisfaction!!
What do I need? Experience with PLC's is a must, as is passion and willingness to work hard and support the team. Its fast paced, hard work and you'll need to be a quick learner. They'll train you heavily for at least 6 weeks and you can be confident of progressing and having a strong career with them as they continue to dominate there field.
