Job Description

Do you have Fabrication experience and have used a Brake Press machine? Would you like the opportunity to operate other fabrication machines such as Guillotines, Punch Presses and Roll formers alongside the Brake Press? If so, then this role for an established manufacturer in Havant could be for you!

This is a permanent role, 37.5 hours a week. The working hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday to Thursday and then an early finish of 1pm on Fridays. The salary for this fabrication professional is dependent on experience and is reviewed after probation. There is also a productivity bonus. They are a company also happy to provide in house training.

This company manufacture large, fabricated and assembled metal products typically for the construction and building services industry. These products are heavy, made from sheet metal that is formed, punched, cut, bent, assembled and quality checked all the way through.

In this role you'll be trained to own the fabrication part of the factory where they have 4 machines, a roll former, punch press, guillotine and brake press. 80% of your role will be fabricating using these machines, then 20% of the time you'll be able to support assembly,kitting and other areas across the shop floor.

What do I need?

  • You will have had experience fabricating, operating a Brake Press machine
  • You will need to be able to work alone well and be happy with days that are repetitive
  • You will need to be happy to help out other areas when required
  • Able to lift heavy sheet metal daily
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Willing to commute to Havant
