Job Description

Experienced within fluids/liquids, chemicals, instrumentation or filtration sales? If so then we seek a highly driven sales professional from the engineering industry to become a Business Development Manager joining a well-recognised and fast growing global company offering an OTE of up to 55k dependent upon your level of experience.

In this role you will be selling a technical leading product range into current successful territories typically from the midlands up to Manchester (M6, M62, M1), importantly you will also be driving the hunt for new business showing a particular hunger in this area. The product sells very well and they are highly competitive, you'll become part of an extremely profitable and secure manufacturer.

Industries served include the pharmaceutical, food & beverage sectors and other industries specifically within UK/Ireland as well as in Scandinavia. You'll be on the road 3 or 4 days a week with a day or two at home. Most of the travel will be between midlands and Manchester (70%) with trips to distributors in Ireland and occasional trips to Scandinavia (30%).

So what do I need?

  • You will already work within technical sales having a few years' experience at least.
  • Experience providing a technical solution for example fluid handling, pumps, valves, chemicals, filtration products etc
  • A real hunger to win new business.
  • Good influencing and strong communication skills vital.
  • A degree in engineering would be advantageous
