Business Development Manager

We are looking for Business Development specialists who have worked across the Safety Hazardous and/or Process Safety industries. These are growth positions to join a rapidly, growing company forecasting millions of revenue in the years to come. This role is UK based and predominantly home working. You must be able to commute to either: Southampton, Leeds, or Aberdeen when required and travelling on-site to clients.

The Package: Paying an annual salary of up to £70,000 p/a. Additional benefits include a 10% annual bonus as-well as car allowance. This role does not include commission on-top. Further benefits see: 25 days holiday, sustainability benefits, life assurance cover and much more…

What will I be doing?
Using previous business development experience, we're wanting you to be able to hit the ground running, growing, and developing the brand. You need to demonstrate previous ability of selling at a high senior level. You will be steering sales endeavours in organisational safety and reliability services. You will be expected to travel on a frequent basis, both to clients and conferences where you will be expected to develop the necessary skill set to be able to present, lead and win business. With your client's safety needs at heart, you must be able to demonstrate a confident ability to handle frequent conferences always performing to the best of your ability.

What do I need?

  • Previous Business Development experience mixed with a strong educational background. (Experience expected will vary depending on growth and education).
  • Proficient knowledge across Reliability, Hazard Awareness and Safety/Reliability services.
  • Previous experience in handling business development at a Senior-Director level.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to challenge other's ways of thinking.
  • Client focused mindset and drive to get results.
