Job Description

Are you an experienced buyer having worked within Engineering and Manufacturing? Do you have experience buying ingredients or raw materials? If so, this Buyer position is for you!

This Buyer role is working for an innovative and growing Cosmetic Manufacturer based in Waterlooville. The working week is 37.5 hours, with the hours being very flexible. The role is also paying up to £35,000 depending on experience.

This cosmetic manufacturer is a very exciting company, currently experiencing major success and growth. Due to this, they are now looking for a Buyer to join the team in Waterlooville.

The successful Buyer would have a range of responsibilities. The successful candidate will need to coordinate different aspects of the supply chain, such as planning, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery. They will need to place orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure time restrictions and customer requirements are met. They will also need to ensure that the ERP system is utilised and accurately updated. There will be an element of negotiation to secure better quotes and prices. There will also be relevant documentation to complete such as POs, invoices and transportation. Accurate reviews will also need to be carried out to enable accurate forecasting, planning and ordering.

You will need:

• Buying experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

• Experience with buying raw materials or ingredients (Desirable)

• Good knowledge and experience with ERP systems

• Strong IT skills

• Excellent organisation

• Exceptional communication
