Buyer - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you an experienced Buyer? I have a role based in Havant; this is certainly an enticing role to become part of a highly reputable global Aerospace company!

Tell me more:

This is a 6-month fixed term contract to join our global Aerospace client as a buyer, working 37.5-hour weeks, Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on a Friday! You will be working in a fast paced, always growing environment and your main purpose will be to purchase specific commodities, goods, machinery, tools and equipment. Previous aerospace knowledge will be advantageous to be able to hit the ground running.

What will I be doing?

Working in the purchasing and supply chain department, you will be joining a team of 4 which includes several other buyers with whom you will work closely with. Working with the existing supply base, you will be assessing supplier performance, dealing with corrective actions and be expediting orders to ensure everything is completed on time and with the same quality.

What do you need?

• Previous Buying experience is a must have.
• Experience dealing with corrective actions and meeting strict timely requirements.
• Aerospace Industry experience is preferred.
• A calm manner and positive attitude are required.
• Flexible approach to work and clear ability to set priorities.

The Package: Paying an annual salary between £35k - £45k depending on experience, further benefits include: the option to be enrolled onto the company pension scheme, complete overtime, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance scheme, buy additional days of leave and much more….
