Job Description

Do you have a passion and want to pursue a career in Engineering? Are you interested in Design and CAD? If so, then this is a fantastic opportunity!

This role is working for a company based in Havant. The hours are 37.5 a week, Monday to Friday. The salary is dependent on the candidate.

The company is a leading manufacturer and engineering company within the marine industry. They manufacture a variety of hardware for many different types of vessels, all different shape and sizes.

The successful candidate will join the design team and be responsible for both 2D and 3D designing and liaising with customers and other departments to translate and interpret customer briefs. They also be responsible for product lifecycles from concept to final product. The successful candidate will also be a point of contact for customers or departments with queries regarding quotes and design.

This is an exciting opportunity as the company will be providing the framework and allowing the successful candidate to gain a level 6 qualification. Therefore, this is a great entry to design and the engineering field for a growing and reputable company!

You will need:

• A basic understanding of CAD

• A passion for design and engineering

• A keen eye to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Great problem solving skills
