Job Description

Call Centre / Customer Service Supervisor

£23K - £25K, Chichester (permanent, full-time)

Are you an experienced Call Centre/Customer Service Manager with at least 3-4 years of experience in a financial services Customer Service Centre (CSC) environment?

And would you relish the opporutnity to build and manage a small team with offices located in the heart of Chichester?

Our client is a firm specialising in insurance for the military market and has a large client base across the country and abroad.

You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, as well as possess a keen focus of providing excellent customer service. You will also show consideration for the unique circumstances and needs of service personnel and their families. Experience with, or an interest in the armed forces directly or through family would be useful but not essential.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Manage all members of the CSC team in providing excellent customer service including:

  • Leadership and day-to-day management of the contact centre staff activities such as approving holiday, sick leave, expenses, and staffing rotas
  • Day to day management of customer service and sales tasks by the team
  • Regular performance monitoring, feedback and development of team members
  • Implementation of new products and product / underwriter changes within the CSC, in co-ordination with other key business functions such as compliance, finance, marketing, and field sales
