Centre Lathe Turner, Cosham c.£14.50 p/h
Are you an experienced Manual Machinist looking for a new job? We are currently looking to hire a Manual Lathe Operator to join a market-leading company in an exciting position. We are looking for a skilled individual who can bring their knowledge and experience to a place where it is valued.
Your new job would involve working on a variety of products including bespoke, made-to-order units for clients, as well as through the standard product range, meaning that your job will contain variation, and that you are not machining the same products every day.
For this Manual Lathe Machinist position, you will of course need to have experience of operating a Manual Lathe; our client makes a diverse range of products, from filtration systems for medical contractors to components for the energy giants.
This well-respected company offers a stable, busy but friendly environment, where you will be treated as an essential member of a valued team. The company is located a short walk or cycle away from Cosham Railway station, and has on-site parking available (just off Junction 12 off the M27).
This job is on an on-going temporary, with scope for going to permanent. It therefore is a great opportunity to gain some valuable working experience in a market leading company, or to develop a career with long-term goals.
The working hours are 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday, alternating weekly. The rate of pay is anywhere up to £14.50 p/h P.A.Y.E., depending on experience. The option to go Limited or Umbrella is also available.
