The youth you will be working with have all gone through trauma in one way or another, and they are searching for reliable, positive role models to support them as they heal and to help them become productive citizens in the future.

Your days will be varied, and no two days are ever the same, one day you could be going swimming, the next helping with homework.

This position does require you to sleep in, the shift patterns can vary. You could start at 10am one day, sleep in and not leave until 10.30am the next day or you could start at 10am and finish at 10.30pm. The shift patterns extend across 7 days a week so please only apply if there are no restrictions to your working hours.

The position averages at 40hrs per week with sleep ins being paid at the additional rate of £55 per sleep in

Knowledge of working in children's residential services is not essential, but a good attitude with critical thinking skills is.

The starting salary for this position is £24024 PA for little or no experience to £26470 for those with relevant experience and 30 days holiday PA.
