A brand new childrens home based in Rochester in Kent is currently recruiting for a permanent manager to manage the implementation and initial stages of the home, with a focus on long term development and a favourable OFSTED rating.
You will be working in a newly refurbished 6 bedded home for children with EBD and challenging behaviour, the main focus will at first be welcoming new children and forming and bonding of a staff team.
You will be working for a large organisation with homes across the Kent and Surrey area which will result in increased support and assistance from other managers and also head office.
You will be working independantly and have full responsibility for the home, meaning that recruitment of new staff and also assessment of new children will be key to ensure that the home is a success and fills quickly.
Excellent up to date knowlegde of OFSTED requirements and care provision for looked after children is essential for this role, plus you must be able to manage effectively in pressurised situation.
