Children's Home Registered Manager

Currently looking to recruit for Registered Managers on behalf of my client. There are currently 3 vacancies in Kent. My client caters to children and young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural difficulties) and other behaviours that may challenge.

The suitable candidate will manage a home in either, Canterbury, Dover/Deal or Bromley.

As well as an extremely generous starting salary, you will also receive a £5,000 welcome bonus after completion of your probation period with other benefits available to you. Further financial incentives are available pending OFSTED Inspection rating and occupancy levels. You have the potential to earn an additional £12,000 per year through the company's bonus scheme!

You will enjoy 34 days of holiday entitlement, including bank holidays for an excellent work and home life balance. Your work week will consist of 40 hours per week, inclusive of on-call duties. Having a Full UK driving license is essential for this role. You will need to have the relevant Registered Manager awards and qualification already in place to be considered for this role.

My client is innovative and forward thinking so they have recently introduced a scheme where CQC Registered Managers will also be considered as long as they have previous experience in working with Children and Young People.

As an experienced Registered Manager, you will have knowledge of OFSTED Regulations and be up to date with Childcare & Child Protection Laws. As well as having a proven track record in working directly with vulnerable children and young people, you will also ensure the smooth running of the home by managing and supporting your staff team by being available to them and promoting reflective practice. You will ensure the children in your care are being supported and looked after in line with their personalised Care Plans. You will communicate with different professional bodies such as Social Services, Health Practitioners, parents/families amongst others. You will use your organisational skills to provide safe levels of staff along with your natural abilities to be aware of dynamics with the children and within your staff team.

Along with having the experience above, you will also use your good sense of humour, initiative, integrity and honesty in order to build a good bond with your team and the children living at the home. You will be resilient and an excellent role model for your team and the children in your care.
