Children's Home Residential Support Worker (Wake Night)

I am currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers to fulfil the role of a Waking Night Support Worker for Brighton based Children's home that caters to Children and Young People with Emotional Behaviour Difficulties (EBD) and behaviours that may challenge some.

My client is looking for the right person to work 3 wake nights per week, mainly Friday, Saturday and Sunday over one or two of their local homes. Your role there will be to ensure the health and safety of everyone in the home throughout the night.

Our Brighton based client really focuses in the therapy and development of their Young People and want individuals who are passionate about making a difference and improving the life chances of their Residents. If you are you robust, resilient and resourceful and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of Young People then I want to hear from you!

You will be working very near Brighton City Centre and with public transport at right at your doorstep. There is also free parking on site! To be successful in the role you would need to have good knowledge of child safeguarding and an NVQ Level 3 Diploma or willingness to work towards one. Being a driver with a UK License also is a great tool to have. You will benefit from the support of friendly and committed staff team and management, with comprehensive and informative inductions and training.

More importantly, you will really enjoy your shifts with the Young People as you may have the chance to have more meaningful conversations and interactions with them.
