Job Description
Children's Residential Support Worker
My client puts the needs and safety of the Young People at the forefront of everything they do, so being consistent in your practice is key in order to get the best outcomes for the Young People and to keep them safe. My client caters to Young People with Emotional Behaviour Disorders (EBD).
As well as a competitive starting salary, up to £21,349, you will also benefit from 28 days annual leave allowance for a great work and home life balance. To further enhance your earnings, you will also benefit from an additional £50 per sleep in you do! There are financial incentives in place for working Bank Holidays and planned & unexpected overtime in order to reward your hard work and efforts to support the home. A comprehensive training and induction package is offered that may lead you to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People in the Residential Care after your probation period, along with many different courses that will contribute towards your practice with the Young People in your care.
Being a good role model is key for this role as the Young People will look to you for guidance, support, and positive reassurance. Building a good trusting relationship with the Young People will ensure to get the best outcomes.
You will support and promote the Young People with their education provision and other activities so having a full driving license is desirable.
