Young People's Residential Support Worker
I am currently recruiting for experienced people to work with Children and Young People with EBD and Challenging Behaviours in Residential Care Homes throughout ADUR and ARUN.
Our client is a real leader in working holistically and therapeutically with Children and Young People. They are supportive and friendly with great staff teams and want individuals who are passionate about making a difference and improving the life chances of Young People in a Residential setting. If you are you robust, resilient and resourceful and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of Young People then I want to hear from you!
You would be working in beautiful surroundings of ADUR and ARUN area with our highly regarded client in a well-managed children's home with an organisation that takes a positive, proactive approach in the development of their Resident Young People.
If you can build a good rapport with Young People and yet be aware of appropriate boundaries then this is the role for you. Could you be an advocate and support, encourage and enable a true sense of identity and self-worth? Inspire confidence and nurture self-esteem? This is a really rewarding and fulfilling role for the right candidate, with scope for training and progression. To be successful in the role you would need to have good knowledge of child safeguarding and an NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards one.
