Children's Senior Residential Support Worker

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to work in a Children's Home in Brighton and Hove.

My client caters to working with children with EBD (emotional behaviour difficulties) and some aspects of behaviours that may be challenging to some. Working in a therapeutic and holistic manner will ensure the children build appropriate and meaningful relationships with you, the team, their fellow residents and other important people in their lives.

You will be welcomed by a friendly team that its sole purpose is care for the Young People and to support each other as work colleagues. You will have all the in-house facilities you need in order to ensure you work effectively and in comfort.

As well as a competitive starting salary of £23,140 to £24,556 with experience and length in service, you will also benefit from 28 days annual leave allowance for a great work and home life balance. Using your natural leadership abilities and previous experience in working with children and young people with EBD in a residential setting you will support the Registered and Deputy Manager in the daily running of the home. It is essential that you have a full UK driving license as you may be driving the children to and from their education provision and other activities outside of school hours and term time. With your understanding of OFSTED regulations and Safeguarding children you will deliver an excellent service to the children that will inspire, motivate, and develop your colleagues and rest of the team.
