Children's Support Worker

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team working in residential children's homes based around Horsham/Guildford.

You will be working in partnership with a strong team of Support Workers to play a vital role in providing support to young people who have complex behavioural and emotional needs ensuring positive outcomes for them throughout their journey into adulthood. Your role will involve supporting and engaging with the young people in a wide range of activities within the homes creating a stimulating, nurturing environment for them to thrive.

Duties include supporting the young people with their morning/evening routines in line with their individual care plans, preparing activities for the children that stimulate their learning and integration within the homes, keeping records of the young people's achievements, behaviour and important events in their lives as well as participating in domestic tasks within the homes including meal preparation, cleaning and shopping.

A minimum of six months of paid experience within the care sector is required for this position. A successful candidate will be positive, motivated, reliable and flexible.
