I am currently recruiting for Children's Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team and work alongside our fantastic client base located in East and West Sussex.
You will be based within one of our welcoming Residential Children's Homes where you will be supporting young people who have come from traumatic backgrounds and suffer from emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) to positively work towards their individual goals.
This role offers you amazing flexibility with shifts needed throughout the entire week, including weekends and bank holidays. We will provide you with an outstanding selection of shifts, allowing you to control how little or much you want to work on a weekly basis giving you a great work-life balance!
You will be responsible for spending group or one-to-one time with the young people, participate in staff meetings/handovers, support the staff, perform basic domestic duties, preparing meals for the young people and planning fun activities to do during the day or after school such as baking or gardening. You will be expected to complete light admin, answering the phone, updating records where needed, assist with taking the young people to appointments/days out and transporting them to school and back when needed.

You will need a minimum of six months' experience within the care sector and the willingness to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People to be considered for this role. This position does include working paid hourly rate sleep-in shifts and the ability to drive is not essential.
