Due to high demand we are looking to recruit Children's and or Young People's and Adult Support Workers. We can provide you with a choice of work settings throughout HAMPSHIRE from Southampton areas to Chichester areas and can range from Children's homes to Outreach, Family Centres, Supported living, Homeless Foyers, Mental Health support units and so much more.
Are you an experienced or studying children/young people/youth/adult support worker who wants to make a positive difference to children's and young peoples' lives? Would you like to work for a busy Health and Social Care Agency and receive great rates of pay? We have shifts working daytime hours, waking nights and sleep ins.
You will ideally possess previous experience of, or be studying, working with vulnerable children or young people who have had to face a number of traumatic issues which could lead to exhibiting challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties. You will be emotionally resilient, patient and empathetic. Understanding the need for consistency in your approach and to provide safe boundaries is of paramount importance.
If you possess these skills and you are an enthusiastic, reliable and creative individual who can be a positive advocate for yourself, our company and the children and young people you will work with, then we would love to hear from you. A full driving licence is not essential. It would also be desirable but not essential if you possess and in date Team Teach certificate.
Mandatory training updates with certificates can be supplied for a nominal fee and we are currently offering you a FREE ENHANCED DBS*
