Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced, proactive Supervisor to coordinate, lead and motivate the clean-room team, working to continually achieve company performance targets and customer satisfaction. You would be working closely with the Quality and Production Manager on a daily basis and playing a key role in the continuous improvement of the clean room alongside technical and production engineering.

You will be joining a company with a very established brand, they are ambitious and continually looking to grow. Working at a site of almost 90 employees turning over circa 10 Million a year, they are and part of a highly successful global manufacturer who have recently been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

The salary for the rolewould be around up to £26000 to £29000 depending upon experience, they offer 22.5 Days holiday (equivalent to 5 full working weeks), early finish on Fridays, Health Cash Plan, Childcare Vouchers, Contributory Pension Scheme, gym equipment on site for use by employees, Free Parking and discounts on shopping at major supermarkets such as Sainsburys/ASDA etc. The site is based in New Milton close to Bournemouth, Hampshire

What does the role involve?

This can be a fast moving environment and they have a number of high profiles clients, part of your role would be to continuously monitor the flow of product through the area to ensure production completion targets are continuously achieved. Coordinating the activities of staff within the clean room on a daily basis to ensure consistency of product conformance to company quality requirements. A key part of your role will be motivating and supporting staff, ensuring a positive and methodical approach is taken by all staff when carrying out manufacturing processes.

Working with them in relation to good working practice, ensuring company standards and Health & Safety protocols are adhered to.

So what do you need?

- experience supervising / leading a team of manufacturing personnel to achieve production targets / KPI's
- experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- exposure to clean rooms or similar environment requiring procedural controls
- able to carry out analysis on production processes to eliminate potential for non conforming products
- good at motivating teams with a track record of helping teams to achieve targets
- sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
- a good understanding manufacturing processes to effectively and continuously produce conforming product to customer requirements
- good literacy and numeracy skills
- strong communication skills
- I.T literate (use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems)
