Job Description

Job Title: CNC Operator and Setter

Industry: Aerospace

Location: Fareham

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision aerospace components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and perform routine maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to strict aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator and Setter.
• Proficient in operating CNC machines and using precision measuring tools.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Hourly rate of £16.27 rising to £16.76 after 12 weeks. Working hours are 7.30-15.45 Monday - Thursday and 7.30-11.30 on Friday.
