In order to support that, they have upgraded their facilities twice and are now working out of a gorgeous converted barn in Hampshire. Using sustainable materials, the company produce bespoke outdoor furniture to customers' requirements accommodating individual needs. What are they looking for?
Somebody with a creative flair. The company want to bring somebody on that has good experience with CNC Mills (4 & 5 axis), that will appreciate the high standard of work whilst also looking for ways to improve the current system. If you have a positive attitude, good experience with CNC Mills, and want to work somewhere that will value you, then this is the job.
What is the job?
You will be setting & operating either a 4 axis or a 5 axis CNC Milling machine using Oak & Chestnut timber creating bespoke furniture. Wood experience is not essential. Bespoke, individual and personal, you will not find these products in any catalogue or warehouse. Your strong eye for detail and care for quality will shine through. Nick and Callum will help you hit the ground running, and your Line Leader, Gemma, will ensure that your day is going well and you have everything you need to complete the job. All work orders will come through on your tablet making it easy to see exactly what is needed from the machines, and all programs will be preloaded onto the machine for you.
What's the package?
Besides working on interesting, satisfactory products, you will also be working in a self-sustaining, modern converted barn in the countryside, powered by solar panels, and heated by the biomass waste. We are ideally looking on a temporary to permanent basis for you to trial the company, but would also consider straight permanent. The working hours are Monday to Friday day shift with reduced hours on a Friday, totalling 40 hours before overtime. The role is all about quality, therefore rate of pay will be a fair reflection on your skill, yet still is above the market rate.
