CNC Miller - Permanent

You could be working for a well-established Precision Engineering company based in Brentwood. They pride themselves on their Blue-chip client base & working with their employees to achieve their best and expand upon their skills within a friendly and welcoming environment. They manufacture a wide variety from one offs, to small batch, high quality products mostly for the pharmaceutical industry. They have also just invested and bought two new Milling machines.
They are looking for an enthusiastic Miller to join their close-knit team to produce consistent and high-quality components. The role would be programming oneCNC for two Mills, however any programming experience is welcomed. This role would be suitable for somebody keen to progress into a Supervisory or Management position.
You will have:
You will of course have experience in programming Milling machines. For this role you would be using OneCNC program, however any programming experience is welcomed. You must be able to read engineering drawings. This role will require you to work to tight tolerances in short timeframes; perfect for someone who is driven to deliver the goods. You will be a team player and an effective communicator as you will be supervising.
You will receive:
Fridays off! The core working hours are 7am - 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday with a 3-day weekend. With a half hour lunch, this is a 39 hour working week.
In return for your hard work, you will receive a starting rate of up to £17 per hour, dependant on experience. With this comes real active career development where the team will work with you to progress your skills and make you an even more accomplished engineer.
