CNC Miller - Permanent
Are you an experienced CNC Miller/ Programmer? Are you looking for a new challenge within a fast-paced environment that will utilise and build your skills in Cosham? Then keep reading as this may be the job for you.
You could be working for a well-established Engineering company based in Cosham. They pride themselves on their work and their workforce, and there is a real opportunity to expand your skills. They manufacture a wide variety from one off, to small batch, high quality products for a lot of different industries. They have also just invested and bought a new CNC Machine for their next CNC miller to use.
They are looking for an enthusiastic Miller to join their close-knit team to produce consistent and high-quality components. The role would be using Hiedenhain as their online program, however any programming experience is welcomed. If you also have experience of offline programming then this will be beneficial, however not essential as this can be trained and developed.
You will have:
As a CNC Miller, you will of course have experience in programming Milling machines from technical and engineering drawings and be able to work without supervision. This role will require you to work to tight tolerances in short timeframes; perfect for someone who is driven to deliver the goods. Being a team player and effective communicator will able you to thrive in this position.
You will receive:
Your core working hours are 7.30am - 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 - 12.30 Friday. However, there is plenty of overtime available!
In return for your hard work, you will receive a basic pay of circa £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience. With this comes real active career development where the team will work with you to progress your skills and make you an even more accomplished engineer.
