You could be working for an manufacturing/ engineering company that are renowned for their good treatment of staff, who are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join the engineering team.
Skills and experience:
All you will need for this role is experience in Operating CNC machines (Lathes or Mills). If you happen to have experience with Fanuc controls as well, then this job would be perfect. Any setting/ programming ability on the CNC machines and additional controls knowledge will be highly beneficial.
Of course being an experienced CNC Operator you will be able to work to tight tolerances, and being able to quality check your own working using various hand measuring tools would be highly advantageous. This is because you will be producing interesting products on your CNC machine for a variety of industries. Working to these tight tolerances will improve both the accuracy and quality of your work.
This is a longterm temporary ongoing job starting immediately and offers the possibility to go permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity to show your skill set and join a friendly local engineering company as a CNC Operator. Please note we have 4 positions available.
The hourly pay for this role is a basic rate of £8.80ph PAYE. Working through your own limited company is possible.
There are two different shifts available:
- Double days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm) with a shift uplift equating to £10.38 ph PAYE.
- Night shift (10pm-6am) with a shift uplift equating to £11.44ph PAYE.
