This role would see you setting and operating on CNC Routers - experience on Routers isn't essential, although some kind of CNC machining experience is indeed required. You would be changing the tooling heads, loading and unloading the machine and working from various mechanical drawings to machine both batch and bespoke marine parts.
This role is for a marine engineering company based in Havant, who have been fabricating and exporting both batch and bespoke parts for yachts and shipping for decades. Based across two sites, this large company can provide great opportunities for developing whilst working.
The Ideal Candidate
We are ideally looking for someone with some CNC experience, and with good understanding of mechanical drawings. This is a good role for furthering engineering understanding and learning new skills, so someone keen to graft and grow is perfect.
This role is on a continental shift pattern (also known as Four On, Four Off) and have vacancies on both Days and Nights (06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00 respectively). With competitive uplifts of 40%+ and an immediate start a speedy application would be advised! Rates can be discussed with myself. This is a long-term, on-going role.
Note: this is the location of the town or city the job is in and not the exact location of the employer.
