We are looking for a CNC Machine-Shop Shift Leader to work on Night Shifts for a fantastic precision engineering company based in Segensworth. This role would see you working overnight, between 22:00 and 06:00, supervising and guiding the CNC Team, as well as ensuring a smooth running of the transition of parts throughout the process, and the necessary paperwork and documentation that goes with it. Despite being a big company, this site has a real team energy and you would be liaising closely with engineers and machinists from other departments too. With real potential to go permanent, this contract role could be a major step!

The British branch for a multi-national American company, this company is responsible for providing parts and components to aviation, aerospace and nuclear industries. The CNC department is one of the biggest and most vital on site, and as a supervisor you would be taking a pivotal role in the whole operation.
The Ideal Candidate
As the perfect candidate, you would need to be willing and capable to work the Night Shifts, be able to lead, guide and motivate the team, ensure the documentation is correct and everyone from the machinists to the Production Manager are informed and in-the-know regarding CNC production. Supervisory experience is essential, as is strong CNC knowledge. A strong managerial mind, coupled with an approachable and understanding attitude to the team, would go a long way in this position.
