This role would see you using your CNC skills to machine parts on a CNC Lathes, working using Fanuc. Machining parts for the marine industry from predominantly stainless and mild steel and aluminium, you would be working closely with a CNC Lathe, using mechanical drawings to check your work. Some knowledge of CNC is essential, and knowledge of Fanuc preferable. Training and guidance on CNC Lathes, in order to bring out the best in you and make you a valuable member of the team, is provided.
Daily tasks will include sourcing the correct raw products, loading the machine, selecting the correct programming and tooling heads, ensuring a smooth run, then unloading and inspecting the part.

This role is based on the Night shift, although training would most like take place on the Day shifts. Nights do bring an additional 33% uplift on top of your base rate, which should be around the £11 per hour mark. Click apply below to get in touch and discuss.
