Collections Agent - 37.5-hours per week
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work within a well-established financial services company based in Warrington on a permanent basis. This company are expanding and looking for someone who wants to grow with the company. They want someone to be confident in themselves and help with suggestions on ways to improve as well as being able to develop your own skills, all with a smile on your face! You would be a name and not just a number here, each day will be different all within a friendly and social atmosphere.
Role Responsibilities -
In this job role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and handling a range of queries. You will be a strong negotiator and adept at dealing with queries, taking payments, complaints, chasing payments and ensuring that customers' concerns are followed up and acted on correctly. You will handle both inbound and outbound calls from customers and third parties. You will be able to manage customer expectations and arrange appointments when required. You need to be good at decision making and be happy with contributing to meeting and discussions to find ways to improve.
This role will involve debt recovery and managing arears so you need to be confident in your customer service skills to be able to manage these calls and agree on the best outcome for both the customer and the company. This could involve setting up payment plans or escalating debt.
You will need strong verbal and written communication skills and be confident on computers (Microsoft Office). You must have experience of a fast paced and changing customer service environment and be polite and courteous at all times. You should have some understanding of CGA, SOGA and FCA regulation. Excellent attention to detail is needed and happy with dealing with confidential information on a daily basis. Complaints or debt recovery experience would be strongly preferable.
The hours of work for this role are between 9am and 8pm Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sunday.
PLEASE NOTE - you will only work 37.5 hours per week throughout these times and it will be on a rostered basis.
