The Engineering division of FPR Group are recruiting for a dynamic, team player to work as a Continuous Improvement Lead for a well-established and successful engineering company in the Portsmouth area.

Working alongside the operations and management team to increase operational efficiency through the business by monitoring, improving and redesigning processes and practices. You would be leading and delivering key projects for change and improvement so this would suit someone who is driven to find solutions and drive change through the business.
We are looking for people with experience of project management.
You would be working with the Operations management team and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, looking at existing processes to assess whether they best suit the business. You will use your experience to develop and lead improvement projects and successfully implement these.
Other aspects of your role would be to define and implement operations strategy alongside the operations management team by prioritising and leading the key improvement projects.
Specifying and coordinating best practice between teams and establishing appropriate measurement systems to identify opportunities and quantify implemented improvements.
You will also be investigating quality issues and promoting continuous improvement activity in all areas of the business so if you are looking for a role where you can really make a difference please get in touch.
What are we looking for?
- Experience within an engineering environment
- Apprenticeship qualified or equivalent
- Trak record of identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and PC skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven track record of driving best practice and change
- Financial awareness and experience of working in an engineering environment is desirable
