Are you a customer focused, proactive and organised individual with experience in the auto repair industry?

Our client is a well established and rapidly growing Auto Repair company; they are looking for a Production Customer Liaison Manager to join the team at their site in Reading.

You will be working within a dedicated, driven and hard-working team who prides themselves on always exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

As the successful Production Customer Liaison Manager, your role will be to as the main point of communication for the customer as soon as their vehicle arrives on site for repair.

The contact point; you will ensure that they are kept updated throughout the process, seeing the job through to completion including invoicing and feeding all relevant parts to the vehicle during the repair.

Alongside the important communication element of the role, you will be responsible for various tasks to include:

  • Arranging for a clean courtesy car prior to the customer arrival
  • Evaluate damage against i-damage estimate
  • Identifying parts and labour required ahead of passing onto the work shop.
  • Carrying out quality checks.
  • CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) report management

So, are you right for the role?

The role requires you to have strong knowledge and working experience within an automotive repair or body shop environment. Just as importantly, you will be customer focused.

As a person you will have an upbeat and friendly nature, with a well organised, can do attitude, with the ability to multi-task whilst owning your workload. With the strong communication element of the role, a confident telephone manner, skillset in IT literacy and great time management skills are key.
