Job Description

Permanent Sales Administrator

In this role you would be reporting to the Technical Sales Manager and accountable for Sales and Customer Service Administration, Order Tunnel Management, Sales, Client Servicing and Business Development Activities.

You will be responsible for processing of customer enquiries whilst growing an understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing methods. You will manage the customer potential order tunnel, delivering client servicing and customer service within the time scale provided. Processing customer orders and contract reviews on a daily basis you will check purchase orders and quotations, preparing sales and works orders documentation. Ensuring customer enquiries, orders and products are progressed professionally you will assist in liaising with the production department for any technical enquiries. Your role also includes managing and prioritising workload in a changing environment so you need to have good organisation skills.

You will contribute to the Company successfully surpassing its monthly and annual enquiry level, new customer acquisition targets, selling price, gross margin and net profitability.

You will assist with new visitors with a big smile! and cover reception duties if needed,

Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a big advantage for this role. You need to have a good attitude, willing to learn and a flexible can do attitude.

The hours for this role are 8:15 - 5 Monday-Thursday and 8:15 - 3:45 Friday. The salary is £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.
