Job DescriptionDeputy Manager Vacancy in Children's Care Home
My client is currently looking to appoint a new Deputy Manager to their Children's Home near the Fledborough area. This role will suit a resilient and experienced Senior Support Worker or a current Deputy Manager that is looking for a new change of scenery and rewarding challenge.
My client focuses on the welfare, development, and safety of vulnerable Young People and puts their needs at the forefront of everything they do. The Young People have some Emotional Behaviour Disorders (EBD), so using your experience in working with Young People will be key in order to uphold the boundaries, whilst nurturing and supporting them.
Not only will you be offered a competitive starting salary, rising to £30,011 with length in service, there is also 30 days annual leave entitlement (including Bank Holidays) for a great work and home life balance. A work place pension is also in place, along with a bespoke and comprehensive training package that will contribute towards your development. An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or in Children and Young People is essential.
You will be part of the Leadership Team and working alongside the Registered Manager will be key in the smooth running of the home. Supervising and role modeling to the team will ensure the Care Home reaches its outcomes for the Young People. Your ability to lead, mentor, and motivate will get the best out of the Young People and the Team. To be successful in this role, you will also need to adapt quickly to an ever changing environment and step in as a figure of leadership when needed to.
Due to the remote location of the home, you will need to have a Full Driving License as the home has a fleet of service vehicles.
