A large employer in the Crawley area is recruiting for a deputy manager to work in a 6 bedded home for adults aged 35 - 50 who have learning disabilities.
The service caters for adults with learning disabilities who have been at the home for varying levels of time, there is a high level of community integration and involvement with the service users.
You must have the flexibiltiy to work with different service users with varying needs and be able to organise and delegate, sometimes at short notice. Your role involves you working with a well established team of support workers so you must be an excellent communicator and delegator.
You will be working under guidance of an area manager and a registered manager so a great support network in place, plus you will be put through the NVQ management qualification in your first year of employment. The NVQ 3 qualification is preferred so that you can work towards the level 5. But experience is always valued so please apply either way.
You will be working for a well established employer with multiple services so there is a viewpoint of you progressing towards a management role.
