Deputy Manger Vacancy
An exciting new opportunity has risen. My client is expanding their business and looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to their brand new 5 bedded Children's home in the Worthing Area for Young People aged 8-18 with some Emotional Behaviour Disorders (EBD).
Utilising your natural people and role modelling skills, you will support the manager to develop a team who focus on quality and puts children at the forefront of everything they do.
As well as a competitive starting salary, rising to £32,130 with length of service, you will also benefit from a bonus if the home achieves an Ofsted rating of "Good" or "Outstanding". You will also benefit from 28 days annual leave entitlement to provide a good work and home life balance. Adding to those benefits, an enhanced rate is also on offer for working overtime, bank holidays, and sleep ins.
As a current Deputy Manager OR a well-established Senior Support Worker, looking to progress, and your current experience in Ofsted regulations you will support the manager in delivering an outstanding service to the Young People.
Along with receiving the right type of support and guidance, you will also receive a comprehensive training package that can lead to enrolment in a Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management.
Not only will this role be nurturing and rewarding but you will enjoy working by the picturesque scenery of the Worthing Seafront and best of all, free parking is available! As the home is currently in its refurbishment stage, you will be a key player in interviewing your own Staff team.
