We are seeking a bright mechanical engineer who may already have some Design Engineering experience and knows that this is the direction they wish to progress their career within. This role will join a dynamic team of approximately 60 employees at a highly successful manufacturing company, which boasts global operations. More about the role:

This role will pay from £30000 up to £35000 all depending upon levels of experience. In this position, you'll experience a blend of project engineering and design work. Working on a variety of design projects of different scales will keep you engaged and challenged. The fast-paced manufacturing environment will call for your dynamism and enthusiasm, as you switch seamlessly from one project to another. As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings, technical specifications, reports, and other essential documentation. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in developing methods and documentation to validate new products, ensuring the utmost design integrity and performance specifications.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience within Mechanical Engineering and a natural favouring for design work
• A HNC at least that can be built upon up to Degree level
• Genuine passion for mechanical design
• Excellent communication skills to take ownership of design projects and collaborate effectively.
