Job Description
Are you a Design Engineer ideally with Injection Moulding / Plastic design experience looking for a varied role, with autonomy to work at a prestige and very busy manufacturing site in New Milton? If so, then read on!
We're seeking a driven Design Engineer with a few years' experience at least to join a team at site of circa 60 employees for a highly profitable manufacturer with global manufacturing operations.
Depending upon experience this role will pay anywhere from circa £37,000 up to £41,000 - the key is finding the right level professional for further future investment. This role will be working with a variety of projects that serve multiple industries offering you a chance to expand your engineering base as well as becoming a key member of their team moving forwards.

This role will have elements of project engineering yet is fundamentally a Design Engineering role, working on various design projects of various sizes. As a busy manufacturer there will be times when you switch from project to project, so they do seek someone dynamic who is excited to work within a fast paced operation. As a Design engineer you'll prepare, review and approve drawings, technical specifications, reports etc . You'll be involved with developing methods and documentation for validating new products to ensure integrity of design and that performance specifications are met, also being able to sign off on documentation.
So what do I need?
- A few years into your Design Engineering career
- You will ideally be a graduate or holding some relating engineering certifications
- Injection moulding / plastic design experience is advantageous
- Great communication skills to take ownership of design projects
You will drive and see the fruition of your work quickly due to onsite manufacturing. Their projects are diverse which ensures security, there is lots to learn, offers variety and ultimately by reporting into the Technical Manager your feedback and suggestions will be heard, quickly.
