Job Description

This Design Engineer role is working for a company based in Havant. The hours are 37.5 a week, Monday to Friday. The salary is dependent on the candidate.

The company is a leading manufacturer and engineering company within the marine industry. They manufacture a variety of hardware for many different types of vessels, all different shape and sizes.

The successful candidate will join the design team and be responsible for both 2D and 3D designing and liaising with customers and other departments to translate and interpret customer briefs. They also be responsible for product lifecycles from concept to final product. The successful candidate will also be a point of contact for customers or departments with queries regarding quotes and design.

This role would be suitable for someone with 1 or more years design experience within the engineering industry. Full training will also be provided.

You will need:

• A degree in relation to electrical engineering and design

• At least 1 year experience within design

• A keen eye to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Great problem-solving skills
