An exciting Aerospace Design role on! We're seeking a mechanical Design Engineer to take on a role on paying £44000 +bonus, working near to Cosham just above Portsmouth for a global leading manufacturer.

As part of a specialist team you will be working on mechanical design projects. They manufacture products onsite and you'll be accountable for high technology design and leading activities to bring your products into volume manufacturing. The role will include generating design concepts, performing analysis, interfacing with customers in design reviews and verifying at specific stages.

What do I need?

You'll come from a well regulated industry and be well experienced within manufacturing design. Naturally you'll have good engineering design, project engineering and NPI understanding. They use CATIA V5 but as long as you have 3D modelling experience this is fine. Degree or equivalent experiencing gained within highly regulated Mechanical design is required.
