We seek a capable professional to become a Development Engineer working as part of a multi-talented team typically working within new product development ensuring the transition of new products into production safely and cost effectively.

Sounds great, so what do I need? This company pride themselves on their support and training and as a result have a high employee retention level. Naturally they seek positive, enthusiasts and driven engineers to join them, character, capacity and professionalism is key. You'll need to have gained some experience working closely within production/manufacturing environments. Ideally holding certification in engineering i.e a HNC, or NVQ level 4 or an apprenticeship and importantly 3D CAD modelling experience is key as you will be working closely within the design phase of new/modified products.
What else will I be accountable for?
Preparation of proposals for product developments, collation of data and technical reporting. Naturally you'd recommend improvements to configuration and performance of products and systems. On occasions you'd visit external customers and be involved in producing drawings for components, assemblies and equipment.
