Job Description
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer? Are you looking to take lead within a small engineering workshop and contribute towards a successful business?
If you are looking to become office based, have electrical experience and the knowledge to lead projects then you may be the perfect candidate to join a small friendly engineering company based in Waterlooville.
The company are renowned for its good treatment of staff and specialises within the telecommunications industry. As an electrical engineer, you will lead projects such as the manufacturing of telecoms cabinets and various adhoc requirements from customers.
You will be joining a small workshop as an electrical engineer to manage the projects from inception through to delivery. You will liaise with internal departments to ensure products are designed to specifications and wired correctly to electrical diagrams
As an experienced electrical engineer, you will have knowledge of electrical equipment that uses low-voltage DCs and 240v outlets. The following qualifications will be required:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ L3
- 2391 Inspection and Testing
Working as an electrical engineer you will become the lead engineer to investigate quality-related issues and work closely with the design department to help amend existing designs. Working Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30 you will utilise your existing knowledge in electrical engineering to support and lead the workshop with electrical projects.
